Reported Attorney Misconduct Committed By Attorney Patrick M. Allienello In Rhode Island

Attorney Patrick M. Allienello Is Accused Of Misappropriating Client Funds

Added 1-2010 -- The state Supreme Court on Tuesday suspended the law license of Patrick M. Allienello, of North Providence, for allegedly misappropriating client funds.  The court took the action based on disciplinary complaints it received from clients of Attorney Patrick Allienello.  Allienello was accused of misappropriating money he received as settlement agent for real estate closings. He was supposed to use the funds to pay off prior mortgages of record for clients, but failed to do so and instead, according to Curtin, "converted those funds to his own use."  As of this posting, no charges have been filed but the case has been forwarded to the Rhode Island State Police for criminal investigation.
