David Curtin has been the Chief Disciplinary Counsel for the Rhode Island Supreme Court Disciplinary Board for some time and, as a result, is responsible, at least in part, for most, if not all, of the complaints on the Rhode Island Supreme Court Disciplinary Board's page
Curtin is famous for his dismissing of complaints with the words, "we see no wrong doing."  One of the reasons for this could be Curtin's statement in 2009 to Channel 12 news when he is quoted as saying, "When we become aware an attorney is involved in serious [attorney] misconduct, it becomes our primary goal to shut them down as soon as possible."
