Complaint 1: The Supreme Court ruled Judge Dimitri failed to instruct the jury on the standard of care drivers owe children under state law. [From the Providence Journal 3-26-99] Note: Caught! realizes this failure to instruct the jury could have been an error or lapse in judgement and may not necessarily constitute judicial misconduct. Be advised that an innocent or non-deliberate error does NOT constitute judicial misconduct. Caught! is listing these reversals to see if patterns exist with the various judges. Unless one sees a pattern, the reader should consider this complaint informative, but not necessarily determinative, of judicial misconduct.
